Subject: Kumulipo FREE mixed martial arts class in Nanakuli
Kumulipo and the PuuHeleakala Recreation Association in Nanakuli on Oahu 's west end is sponsoring FREE, MIXED MARTIAL ARTS CLASSES at the Recreation Center on Helelua Street open to kids and adults. As you can see in the photos, the predominantly Polynesian community responded favorably. The kids are leaning valuable skills that will bring a sense of confidence and discipline in a neighborhood dominated by a local gang. Some of the gang members are getting involved. They are leaning that training and competing is required in a sport that truly identifies the "posers and the pussses".. Insturctor Kimo Lee and Kumulipo volunteers conduct the class from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. Monday and Thursday.
We need more pads and protective gear. All donations tax deductible.
