Planned late-night beach closures for several Leeward Coast parks begins Aug. 11: Tracks, Nanakuli, Lualualei No. 2 and Pokai Bay Beach parks.
Night closure hours will be from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The park closures stem from community concerns about safety in the areas during night hours. (Source Honolulu Star-Bulletin)

where is this picture of? In Waianae beach closures, I first thought it was pokai Bay then it kinda looks like Koolina , anyway it is a nice picture, I always say where ever the homeless go or leave, they mess it up for the general public, I'm glad to see them leave but now they leave closures of beaches for night fishermen just cause the law was not enforced to begin with on the Waianae coast. All our wonderful beaches are now subject to a closure..the unhomeless....
