On 7/31/10, the Nanakuli High and Intermediate Performing Arts Center (NPAC) held a benefit concert at
NHIS to raise funds for their trip to Scotland. The "Journey to Scotland" concert was a big success,
featuring local musicians and hula halau, as well as vendors who paid fees to support NPAC.

Senate President Colleen Hanabusa, Rep. Karen Awana, and Rep. Shimabukuro were on hand to present
an honorary certificate to NPAC director Robin Kitsu. Kitsu has dedicated 20+ years of his life to NPAC,
which is open to students all along the Leeward Coast.

NPAC needs much more financial support to ensure they can get to Scotland. Click HERE to view a flyer
listing the amounts they need to raise.
