Rally for Native Hawaiians

The following information is from the OHA website:

Hawaiian Rights remain a target under siege. Next week, the battle goes all the way to the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.

In times of challenge and problem solving, our ancestors and 'ohana practiced coming together to focus and pool spiritual energies to overcome obstacles toward achieving a successful result. The traditional practice is "Kükulu Kumuhana". Please gather your 'ohana and friends to join our spiritual hearts together in Kükulu Kumuhana to focus and direct our collective positive thoughts during the time the United States Supreme Court will hear the Ceded Lands case (Hawai'i v.
OHA, Docket No. 07- 1372).

We ask that the Kükulu Kumuhana be exercised Wednesday, February 25, 2009, beginning at 5:00 a.m., Hawai'i Time (10:00 a.m. EST). At this time, the Supreme Court will hear hour-long oral arguments by the State of Hawai'i and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs. We invite others across the nation to join us in their appropriate time zones.
