BEACH CLEAN-UP II
SATURDAY, MAY 17, 2008 --- 4:00PM to 7:00PM
Aloha!
Please join Nani O Wai`anae and my family at our 2nd beach clean-up and beautification planting at the beach area from Maili Point to Hakimo Road.
Maili Point across from Maili 76 gas station,
aka Nanikai/Ulehawa Beach Park
(located at 87-890 Farrington Highway, cross street is Hookele Street)
Please bring: sun protection; water; & shoes that will protect against keawe thorns, nails, glass.
Optional: yard tools, native plants & swimwear
Participants may start at either Ho`okele St. or Hakimo Rd.
Trash bags, gloves & refreshments will be provided.

Thanks to all of the hard-working volunteers at our first clean-up, we gathered over 80 bags of trash and many bulky items for removal as part of Nani O Wai`anae’s “Keep HI Beautiful Day.” Special thanks to Warren Ho`ohuli, Anna Kuewa, and Mele, who provided tents, tables and chairs for our first clean-up.
