On March 16, 2010, the Legislature recognized the outstanding teachers of the year. Special congratulations go to Christine Ho, who was named 2010 Honolulu District Teacher of the Year! Ho taught for several years in the 1990's at Waianae High, and is still fondly remembered by many. Ho was recently married, and now teaches at Farrington High School, where she has helped start an animation club.
